IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is the perfect treatment to help reduce the appearance of brown spots, freckles, and sun damage (hyperpigmentation) on the face, chest, back, shoulders, arms & hands, as well small broken capillaries/redness on the face. IPL utilizes a laser that emits spectrums of light that targets brown and red structures in the skin. When the light is absorbed by these dark sun spots and broken capillaries, it disables them. In order to be prepared for your Laser Hair Removal appointment please read the following.

1. Have a clean shave to the area being treated. Avoid waxing, tweezing, threading and bleaching the hair for at least 4 weeks prior to your treatment.

2. Avoid sun exposure and self tanners 2-3 weeks prior to your treatment to avoid adverse reactions

3. If you are treating any facial areas then discontinue use of prescription topicals and retinols for one week prior. Avoid antibiotics for 2 weeks prior to your treatment, consult your doctor prior to stopping your medication
